Brief Description

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) invites online applications for an Open Competitive Examination for the recruitment of Sub-Inspector (SI). This recruitment drive is for positions in the Delhi Police and various Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). The posts include Sub-Inspector (Executive) for both Male and Female candidates in Delhi Police and Sub-Inspector (General Duty) in CAPFs. Departmental candidates from Delhi Police are also eligible to apply for specific vacancies.

Age Limit (as on 01/08/2025)

The age limit for candidates is 20 to 25 years. Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02/08/2000 and not later than 01/08/2005. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories.

  • Ex-Servicemen (ESM): 03 years after deduction of military service

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
  • Candidates who have appeared in their Bachelor's degree examination can also apply, provided they possess the qualification by the cut-off date.

Driving License (For SI in Delhi Police - Male)

  • Male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) on the date of the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT).

Physical Standard & Endurance Test (PST/PET)

  • This stage is mandatory but qualifying in nature.
  • Includes race, long jump, high jump, and shot put for male candidates.
  • Includes race, long jump, and high jump for female candidates.

  • English Language & Comprehension.
  • Questions will test the candidate's understanding and knowledge of the English language.

How to Apply

  1. Candidates must complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) on the new SSC website: https://ssc.gov.in.
  2. Applications must be submitted online through the SSC website or the 'mySSC' mobile app.
  3. The application requires a real-time photograph captured during the form-filling process.
  4. Pay the application fee online, if not exempted.
  5. Submit the final form before the deadline of 16/10/2025.
